Even if your answer is Yes
I don’t think you do
Believe me, I am one of you
Even I am afraid of dark spaces
Even my heart races
Even my Adrenaline pumps
Through my veins
Along with goosebumps
My sweat drains
Still… Still, I don’t feel you fear the darkness
Just the absence of light is not responsible for your mess
And why should be the darkness considered profane
When the real culprit is your brain
Yes….. Your brain…
Your Creative Brain….
Showing you the depictions
Sparked by your imagination
Portraying an unnecessary illusion
Derived from a story, a character, a dream or just a delusion
Yes…. You are frightened by that image….. that perception
Which is merely a psychological deception
Think about it…
When people wanted to come to terms with their history
When they wished to get out of their misery
When they wanted to stop the constant debate with their own thoughts when they felt agitated
They sat down, closed their eyes and meditated…
Do u realise the beauty of it… They closed their eyes…
This is what I wanted to emphasize
To order to calm their orderless mind
They desired darkness.
You know who else desires darkness
You… Yes, you?
After all the ups and downs of your day
When u wish to get a small runaway
From the routine
When you wish to get some peace
You close your eyes and you sleep
And those hours are so unchaotic
Sleep can make you realise that darkness is so aesthetic
Just think of it like.
A mix of all colours
Like a blank slate
Leaving you a lot to discover
Because there is nothing in your sight
Darkness is half your life
Darkness is night
And the night is just a part of everyday
And In same the way
Darkness is also a part of your life
That doesn’t mean something is lacking
It’s like the time before gift unwrapping
There is going to be a surprise… A sunrise
A bright morning after that gloom
But till then in that period of night
