When Everyday Feels Like A War, ‘At Least Learn How To Win It’

It is rightly said that there are two sides of the same coin. Everything has a positive as well as a negative side. Well we all know the negative side of this lockdown. Though we sit in front of Television sets winning all the negative news about this outbreak of Covid-19, let us also focus on the positivity of the same.

Hi this is Kasturi who works as a Diamond Grader otherwise when I am on my usual days. This lockdown has proved to be very productive, at least for me. I finally have some time for myself and my family. On normal working days my shift timings are very hectic but now as I am a bit free from it, I decided to do all the things I never thought I would get time for. Growing up isn’t easy. With growing responsibilities it’s hardly possible to do something you love.

Taking advantage of these holidays I am concentrating on rebuilding my health. A 9 hour desk job hardly permits you to concentrate on your fitness, but now I am making sure to regain my strength and fitness. Basic mantra I got to learn is that an 8 hour sleep, eating habits and a bit of exercise works wonders!

Another thing I love to do is Baking. It helps me test my cooking skills and invent newer dishes as well. De-cluttering of the house is another task to concentrate on, every day. But now, I can say, my mom’s happy! Thanks to the lockdown.

Looking at more positivity during this hard time, I am planning to restart my long lost hobby of practicing Kathak dance and complete my higher studies.

Living at present is what I believe in and though this is a difficult time, why not relive every wish we wanted to but never lived. Why not do everything we waited to do when we thought we should get a ‘little break’ from our work. Here is a ‘little break’, use it well..!
