For You By You

Hashtag Quarantine-Hashtag Introverts Time

Not so loud, not so slow, neither too high nor too low,

Introverts got their dice and extroverts were like, “oh no! “😅

Actually, I was smiling sitting beside my brother with coffee in one hand and remote in another on the couch of our hall. I raised the volume up as soon as I saw the flash of PM Modi on the screen. “Mere pyare bhaiyo Or beheno (My brothers and sisters)” and I already started bouncing around “will it be another curfew of banging something or will it be a notebandi (demonetization) again? 🤣”

And it was 21 days lockdown… I said what say that again and I am knocking u down.

Soon I realized that it was home and it was the time my family was getting closer, playing games, eating together and getting high on tiny lame things. And clearly it was nothing as getting bored with these people around.

Eventually, as the time is passing, I am realizing that before running to the hostel, these were the things I lived for, there was a time these people stayed up till 2 pm every night playing and waiting for our fav kulfi wala who used to come at 12 😁It is the time of spending those moments which are missed while we are far away from home.

From day 1 of quarantine, the most favorite thing I could grab is my endless sleep from 10 to 10 without that stress of “aj bhi yehi uniform pehen k clg jana hai” (need to go to college with that same uniform) and most of it “yar ye apron white q hota hai? “(why this apron is white in colour) and that “aj konsa lecture bunk karna hai” (which lect to be bunked today).

Those tasty Aloo Paratha made by Mom for which I craved for months came running to my table.

Finally, it is the time to read my pending novels, time to gaze at Netflix for hours, mostly time to miss every pizza burger and French fries out there.

It is the time to finally complete my 5th diary and be poetic sometimes. It is the time to giggle with siblings and watching Ramayan and Shaktiman with my 9 ratnas (my family members)

It is the time to ask Mumma, “is it so easier to smile and cook for everyone with that cracked ankle and painful joints? ” It is the time to ask papa, “is it too hard to rest at home and not worry about work for some time? ”

Time to get indoor is not my thing but I got through it and enjoying it✨.

To all the introverts out there., it’s your chance to save the world.. 🌟
