“The Government Of India Had Taken A Huge Task Of Changing IPC And CrPC,” Amit Shah

Mumbai: The Union Home Minister Amit Shah says there will be the uncountable change in IPC and CrPC.
While addressing the event he said “arms act are being changed and there is work going on to change the narcotics acts and afterwards there will be the change in CrPc and IPC.”

They had taken this decision due to the way of seeing by the Britishers. These IPC and CrPC acts were the Acts which were passed by the Britisher earlier. This act was placed under the view of Britisher in which ” Their priority was not citizen, their priority was not the nation but their priority was to save their rule and we need to change this,” he said.

He tweeted that, “The Government of India has taken up a huge task of transition to IPC and CrPC. In this session, we are amending the Arms Act and Narcotics Act and after that we will make changes in the IPC and CrPC. We are an independent country, the British-ruled approach can no longer run.”

He also requested to all people that they can share their opinion and he approaches it then only the changes will be work effectively.

Section 370 of Indian Penal Code (IPC) has already been substituted with new sections, 370 and 370A which deals with the trafficking of a person for exploitation. The most important change that has been made is the change in the definition of rape under IPC.

The Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, commonly referred to as the NDPS Act, is an Act of the Parliament of India that prohibits a person to produce/manufacture/cultivate, possess, sell, purchase, transport, store, and/or consume any narcotic drug or psychotropic substance.
