Fadanvis Attacks Uddhav Thackeray For Giving More Attention On Proving Majority Instead Of Farmers Relief In Discussion

Mumbai: Striking at the Maha Vikas Aghadi — the alliance between Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress — former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Friday hits out at the alliance and said that the three-party alliance has not discussed anything related to farmer’s distress in the first cabinet meeting after the swearing-in ceremony.

He also questioned the Shivsena government for the secret in the house meeting and the efforts being made for the changing of pro-tem speaker which is going against the rule.

“Why still doubt your own MLAs so much? Why are they still hiding them? When BJP has already announced to sit in the opposition and Maha Vikas Aaghadi has made so many claims that they have a full majority, that to exhibiting in different ways, why this secrecy and fear? Maharashtra wants these answers!” he asked.

His first decision after taking the oath was to allot Rs 20 crore to development of Raigad, the capital of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

The coalition between the Shiv Sena, NCP, and the Congress has 165 MLAs in the 288-member assembly with them, 20 above the majority mark.
