Union Minister Pralhad Joshi Calls Cong ‘All India Confused Party’

Mumbai: Union Minister Pralhad Joshi on Sunday called Congress an “All India Confused party” and said that the party could have done “a lot” for Uttarakhand as it was in power in Centre and state for a “long time”.

“The Congress was in power for a long time in the state and at the Centre. They could have done a lot for Uttarakhand. They were talking about a weekly holiday on Jumma(Friday) and are now thinking about Char Dham. Congress has become All India Confused Party,” said Joshi.

He said, “Congress is not a party but a confused party. They do not have clarity on any subject whether it is Article 370, Indian soldiers or Uttarakhand, they are always confused. All India Confused Party has become directionless.”

Meanwhile, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also targeted the previous government during the election campaign in the Almora district of the state.

Dhami said, “We have the vision to make Uttarakhand the number one state in the country. Before 2017 the government here had said that we will close our eyes, you can loot whatever you want.”

The BJP is starting its “mega election campaign” in the state from February 1.

Polls to elect the 70-member Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly are scheduled to be held on February 14. The counting of votes will take place on March 10.
