UP CM Yogi Adityanath Praises COVID-19 Economic Stimulus Package

Mumbai: The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday praised the Center for the Rs 20 lakh crore COVID-19 economic stimulus package, saying it would benefit more than three crore people in the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) sector of the state.

He also said that keeping in mind the MSME sector, the state is going to organize a loan fair from Thursday.

According to an official announcement, “Tomorrow, more than 36,000 entrepreneurs will be given Rs 1600-2000 crore in the loan.”

Adityanath said, “I thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Finance Minister for the package. Currently, UP is the state with maximum MSMEs. More than three crore people of the state are directly or indirectly related to this sector. It gives them the will to make you stronger.”

“With the help of One District One Product (ODOP) scheme, my government tried to give a new life to the MSME sector, but there were some hurdles due to the coronovirus pandemic. Declaration of loan of Rs 3 crore for MSMEs and others. Initiative Welcomed the move,” he said.
