Veteran Actor Rishi Kapoor Hospitalized Brother Randhir Kapoor Confirms He Is Not Well
Mumbai: Veteran Actor Rishi Kapoor was admitted to H N Reliance Hospital on Wednesday Morning, says his brother Randhir Kapoor.
“He is in the hospital. He is suffering from cancer and he has some breathing problems, so he has been admitted to the hospital. He is stable now,” Randhir Kapoor told PTI.
The actor was diagnosed with cancer in 2018 and was undergoing marrow treatment in New York for almost a year. He returned to India last September and the third time the actor has witnessed ill health.
The actor’s health is said to be improving and he is off ventilator, confirms Randhir Kapoor.
Rishi Kapoor had told Hindustan Times, “I feel very fresh and geared up to do any kind of work. My batteries are all charged and I’m looking forward to facing the camera. I just hope I haven’t forgotten acting. Right now, I don’t know if my work will be welcomed or if people are going to trash me. When I was going through treatment, I had a few blood transfusions. And I told Neetu that I hope with the new blood, I haven’t forgotten acting.”
The actor was enthusiastic of returning to the camera and had announced the remake of a Hollywood movie “The Intern” casting Deepika Padukone.
