Coronavirus Cases In India Leaps To 33,050, Death Tally 1,074

Mumbai: In spite of frequent measures taken by the government, Covid-19 cases in India have surged over 33 thousand with 1,718 cases and 67 deaths reporting in the past 24 hours according to the ministry of health.

The explicit figures of the pandemic in India are as follows: 33,050 cases, 1,074 deaths, 8,325 recoveries plus 1 migration, and 23,651 active cases.

The states hit with most cases are Maharashtra(9,318), Gujarat(3,774), Delhi(3,314), Madhya Pradesh(2,561), Rajasthan(2,364), Tamil Nadu(2,058) and Uttar Pradesh(2,115).

The country is facing inadequate testing with 7,70,764 samples tested and 31,332 found positive as of 29th April.

Recently on Wednesday, the Centre has allowed the movement of people stranded in acquired states especially- Students, laborers, pilgrims, and tourists who are not infected in accordance with an issued set of guidelines.
