We’re Investing ₹70,000 Crore In Uttar Pradesh: Billionaire Gautam Adani

Mumbai: Billionaire industrialist Gautam Adani on Friday said that the Adani Group is investing ₹70,000 crores in Uttar Pradesh.

Adani further said that ₹24,000 crores will be invested in developing UP’s road and transport infrastructure while another ₹35,000 crores will be invested in the state’s multimodal logistics and defence sectors.

PM Narendra Modi attended the Ground Breaking Ceremony @3.0 of the UP Investors Summit on Friday. He laid the foundation stone of 1406 projects worth more than Rs.80,000 crore during the foundation stone laying ceremony.

The Prime Minister said, “I believe that it is Uttar Pradesh that will accelerate India’s growth story in the 21st century. Uttar Pradesh will be a major driving force for India in the next 10 years.”

The projects encompass diverse sectors like Agriculture and Allied, IT and Electronics, MSME, Manufacturing, Renewable Energy, Pharma, Tourism, Defence & Aerospace, Handloom & Textiles etc.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh were also present on the occasion.
