₹100 Fine For Not Wearing Mask In Indore, 6 Found Infected With UK COVID Variant

Mumbai: A fine of ₹100 will be imposed for not wearing a mask in Indore, said Devendra Singh, Additional Commissioner, Indore Municipal Corporation, on Friday. Issuing an order, Additional Commissioner of Indore Municipal Corporation, Devendra Singh stated that a COVID team will inspect the area to check on COVID violators

“A fine of Rs 100 will be imposed for not wearing a mask in Indore. Our team will be inspecting the area,” Devendra Singh said in the order.

So far 933 people have died in Indore and Bhopal 618. There are now 1,228 active cases left in Indore, while in Bhopal, 607 COVID-19 patients undergo treatment.

The Indore Municipal Corporation made it mandatory for residents to follow social distance norms while living in public places.

According to the update on Thursday, Madhya Pradesh had reported 440 new coronavirus cases, up to 2,63,290. Along with another patient committing suicide in Betul, the toll in the state was 3,866. However, in the last 24 hours, no fresh COVID-19 cases were reported in 13 out of the total 52 districts of the state.

A total of 228 patients were discharged from hospitals during the day to count the recoveries in Madhya Pradesh to 2,56,116. With 162 new cases, the caseload of Indore increased to 60,210, while Bhopal increased to 111,397 with 111 infections.
