3 Held For Running Prostitution Ring From A Hotel In Noida

Mumbai: Noida Police arrested three people, including two women, on Tuesday for allegedly running a prostitution ring from a hotel in Noida’s Sector 15.

According to police officials, they had received information that a sex racket was being run from the hotel, after which raids were conducted.

Zone 1 Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Kumar Ranvijay Singh said, “When our team went there, a man and two women were found indulging in illegal work in a room.”

The police also found some contraceptives in the room. The person has been identified as Satendra (36), a junior engineer in the government department posted in Aligarh, they said.

Police officials said that she had booked women services online through an escort agency in Delhi.

“The women are also in their mid-thirties and are from Delhi’s Kalkaji. We are interrogating them to identify the escort service that was employing them. Due action will be taken against all involved,” said Singh.

The trio was booked under relevant sections of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act and Section 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of the Indian Penal Code.
