8 Officials Suspended By UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath For Negligence In Cattle Care

Mumbai: Uttar Pradesh’s Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has suspended eight officials and sent a show-cause notice to the three officials, including the District Magistrate, in which the cattle were allegedly Maintenance has shown negligence.

This comes after a week were 35 cattle were found dead at a Prayagraj shelter.

This action took place on Sunday evening in a video conference organized with all the district officials. The Chief Minister directed the Prayagraj Commission to examine all aspects of the death of the destitute cow. He instructed the officer to determine the responsibility of related.

Issuing a warning, Yogi said that in the future, criminal proceedings can also be initiated under the Animal Husbandry Act and Animal Prevention Act.

Regarding dead animals, the police said that due to lighting, their death could occur. District Magistrate Bhanu Chandra Goswami said, “It seems that due to the lighting, 35 cattle have died, others are undergoing treatment.”

Recently, the Chief Minister had directed the officials to ensure that the cow sheds are self-sufficient and all the facilities have been provided for the animals. In Jalalabad, more than a dozen cows died from hunger in a cow shelter site in Kannauj district last week. Outside the cow shelter, the local people started protesting to death.

According to local people, at least 15 cows have died or have disappeared because the shelter workers have taken another 5-6 cow on the loaders.
