CPM Leader Nilotpal Basu Lettered Chief EC On PM Modi’s Comment On Sabarimala

Mumbai: Leader of CPM, Nilotpal Basu approached writing a letter to Chief Election Commissioner (CEC), Mr Sunil Arora. In his letter, he alleged on Prime Minister Narendra Modi that he has been violating the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) and thus by corrupting the atmosphere.

Basu wrote, “We are conscious to gain violation of Model Code of Conduct by PM Narendra Modi himself. We have pointed at every set in an investigation that the atmosphere in general elections is been violated by polarizing the community. The pointers are PM Modi’s election rallies in Ramanathapuram in Theni in Tamilnadu and Bangalore in Karnataka on 13th April”.

“During addressing a rally in TamilNadu, PM had said that the Communists and the Muslim league are playing a dangerous game on Sabarimala and are instigating to strike at the base, at the root of faith and BJP will not let them destroy this faith”, Basu said giving an example of how PM Modi violated the MCC as challenging Sabarimala temple and Lord Ayyappa in the campaign.

The letter wrote up that the LDF (Left Democratic Party) was not against faith but was following the orders by the Supreme Court.

The letter further added writing, “The Prime Minister was trying to address people on the name of faith which is totally against the MCC and your orders”.

CPM leader Basu has urge CEC through the letter to take strict actions against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
