Dhoni has played 350 ODIs against Sri Lanka so far, with his highest score being 183. He remains the only captain to win all the big ICC Trophies (more than 50 World Cups, T20 World Cups and Champions Trophies).

Under Dhoni’s leadership, India also managed to achieve the number one ranking in Test cricket. His Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK) has also won the tournament three times under his leadership.

Dhoni was set to return to the cricket ground on March 29 during the opening match of the IPL between CSK and Mumbai Indians. However, the tournament has been postponed indefinitely due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
