UP CM Should Learn How To Improve Law And Order From BSP: Mayawati

Mumbai: The law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh is deteriorating and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath should learn how to control the situation, BSP chief Mayawati said on Tuesday.

“Today, the law and order situation in the state is deteriorating, criminals are ruling Uttar Pradesh. If the government wants to improve the situation, then the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh should learn from the BSP without hesitation. I governed UP for 4 terms, during which the law and order situation was stable,” Mayawati told ANI here.

He further said that a recent incident from Agra, in which the body of a Dalit woman was allegedly exhumed by some persons, was shameful and should not have been allowed to happen.

“Babasaheb Ambedkar’s constitution does not allow untouchability. The place where such incidents take place is not under the rule of law. The Centre should intervene in these matters and ask the state government to file a report and bring a stop to such activities,” Mayawati said.

She requested the Center to provide assistance to the flood-hit Uttar Pradesh and Bihar states and assured immediate relief to the people in those areas without any discrimination.
