Accused Of Dr. Tadavi Suicide Case Allegedly Destroyed Suicide Note

Mumbai: Dr Payal Tadavi suicide case accused doctors, Dr Hema Ahuja, Ankita Khandelwal and Bhakti Meher have allegedly tried to destroy the suicide note shared by the victims. Speculations are the victim sent the note to the three accused and with the fear of getting linked with the case, two of the three accused took this step of destroying the suicide note.

It was four months before, Dr Payal Tadvi was found hanging from a ceiling fan in her hostel room, in BYL college and hospital, at that time no one could recover the suicide note. Later, an examination of Tadvi’s phone revealed that she had written a suicide note and had taken its photograph, after comparing the picture’s handwriting with hers it was revealed that the suicide note was written by dr. Tadvi.

The Mumbai Police Crime Branch has sent the cell phone along with the phones of the accused doctors to the Forensic Science laboratory for further examination of their cellphones. It is revealed that the victim had sent a picture of the suicide note to the three accused before committing the suicide. According to the CCTV footage on the floor of her hostel room, when the doctor’s body was taken to the hospital, everyone including the students left. Except for two of the three doctors. This clip made the investigators believe that the accused tried to destroy the suicide note.

Dr Payal Tadvi Committed suicide after facing constant harassment on her caste as she belonged to SC caste and other verbal-mental harassment. The accused doctors, however, are granted bail on a condition that they will not leave Mumbai without informing the city police station and will not enter the jurisdiction of Agripada Police.
