“Anguished By His Demise”: PM Modi Condoles Rishi Kapoor’s Death

Mumbai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his grief over Rishi Kapoor‘s death.

PM Modi tweeted, “Multifaceted, endearing and lively…this was Rishi Kapoor Ji. He was a powerhouse of talent. I will always recall our interactions, even on social media. He was passionate about films and India’s progress. Anguished by his demise. Condolences to his family and fans. Om Shanti.

The 67-year-old was hospitalized in Mumbai on Wednesday morning with a serious illness according to his Brother Randhir Kapoor.

The actor had undergone 11 months of cancer treatment in New York. He had returned Indian during September 2019 Following which he had been admitted twice of his sickness.

He took his last breath on Thursday at H N Reliance Hospital, Mumbai shocking the cinema world with the demise of another gemstone.
