‘Be Careful Of EVMs And DM: Akhilesh Yadav To Party Leaders

Mumbai: Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav described the UP election as “the biggest in the country” and appealed to the workers to be cautious with EVMs and DMs.

Addressing party workers, the former UP CM said that this time BJP has cast its ‘evil eye’ on booths and in such a situation, SP workers will have to go through a test to save democracy.

Calling upon the party workers to dedicate themselves to their respective areas without wasting time, the SP chief said they should not forget that such an opportunity would not come again. Also Read: There’s Only One Modi Ji, There Will Be No One Like Him: Sanjay Raut

“Party workers have to save the sanctity of this festival of democracy and remain fully alert from the undemocratic intentions of the BJP,” he said.

Yadav also hit out at the UP government over a full-page advertisement in a newspaper to show the economic progress of the state under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath.

Yadav said the BJP takes credit for the work done by other governments.

Uttar Pradesh assembly elections are slated in the upcoming year 2022.
