Mumbai: BJP president Jagat Prakash Nadda on Saturday expressed confidence about the NDA getting a two-thirds majority in the Bihar assembly elections and said that if the BJP gets more seats, “Nitish Kumar will still be our leader”.
Nadda told ANI, “One can clearly see, BJP-JDU-we-VIP will form the government with a clear two-thirds majority, so there is no question of fewer seats. If we get more seats, Nitish Kumarji will be our leader.”
Nadda said that people know that RJD’s character is of “Jungle Raj”.
Nadda said, “And now they have joined with the disastrous CPI-ML and Congress party which has become the spokesperson of Pakistan nowadays. The people of Bihar will respond to them.”
Nadda sought an apology from RJD for “having made people flee the state”.
“The RJD is the same party that was ruling the people of Bihar and the Jung Raj crown prince is well known by the people. Will he give 10 lakh jobs? He made 20 lakh people to flee the state. They should first apologize,” Told ANI.
The first phase of Bihar elections to 71 seats was held on October 28. The remaining 172 assembly constituencies of the 243-member assembly will go to polls on November 3 and November 7. The results will be declared on November 10.
