Mumbai: In a shocking incident, BJD leader Bed Prakash Agarwal lost his life due to protracted illness. Agarwal was also a candidate for Patkura assembly seat in Odisha for the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.
As he was unwell from quite some time due to which he was admitted to the private hospital where he took his last breath today morning.
Many dignitaries, including Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, condoled his death.

Six times MLA, Agarwal was a close confidant of legendary Biju Patnaik and had been a minister in Odisha. He was the current legislator from the Pattukara assembly constituency, which he won in the 2014 election.
Bijay Mahapatra, who was BJP candidate in Patkura against Agarwal, also expressed grief over the demise of the veteran leader.
