BJP Candidate Sunny Deol Files His Nomination For Gurdaspur Constituency
Mumbai: Actor and BJP candidate Sunny Deol filed his nomination papers from Gurdaspur Lok Sabha seat in Punjab on Monday.
In the morning after paying homage to the Golden Temple in Amritsar and the Durgiana Temple, Deol filed his nomination in Gurdaspur.
Deol was also accompanied by his brother and actor Bobby Deol.
Punjab BJP chief and Rajya Sabha MP White Mail, Haryana finance minister and Punjab’s election commissioner Captain Abhimanyu and Akali leader Gurbachan Singh Bedhi were also with Deol.
“Rajneeti muqadqar main thi , ham chale aye. ab Bahut sare mere Bhai behan bhali buri bateyn keheyn ge. Un sab KI bateyn sar mathe par . Ek baat mein dawe se keh dena chahta hoon jo kaam Bekaner main 50 saal se na ho sake mein nain 5 saal main karwa liye they,” Dharmendra Deol tweeted saying.

Presently, Gurdaspur constituency is represented by Congress MP Sunil Jakhar, who won the by-election in the 2017 by-election, which was necessary after the death of Vinod Khanna in April of that year.
Jakhar defeated BJP candidate Golden Salariya by a margin of 1,93,219.
