Complaint To Election Commission About Poll Related Violence In West Bengal

Mumbai: During the Lok Sabha phase 4 polling in West Bengal, the BJP lodged a complaint to the Election Commission about election-related violence.

ANI told that the BJP delegation included Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, Vijay Goyal and Anil Baluni.

“Congress President Rahul Gandhi expressed dissatisfaction over comments made against PM Modi and party president Amit Shah. Their statements are baseless and outrageous and violate election laws. We also raised the issue of electoral violence in West Bengal. We have asked for allocation of central forces at all the polling stations so that there will be free and fair elections in the state,” Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said.

After insisting on voting by TMC workers, even after disagreements between the BJP and the CPI (M) workers, there was a clash between the TMC workers and the QRF and the security personnel outside the polling station number 125-129 in Asansol.

There was another clash between the TMC workers and the security personnel at Poling Booth No. 199 in Asansol. A polling agent from TMC said, “No BJP polling agent was present on the booth.” The BJP MP from Asansol, Babul Supriyo’s car was also vandalized outside the polling booth.
