BJP Leader Manohar Lal Khattar To Take Oath As Haryana CM On Diwali, Deputy CM Will Be From BJP Too?

Mumbai: After JJP decide to support the BJP government as its ally to form its government in Haryana, reports claimed that CM Khattar will be sworn in for a second term tomorrow at 2 pm on Diwali.

Meanwhile, it has been reported that Bharatiya Janata Party MLAs in the state have now demanded a deputy chief minister post for the saffron party too.

Earlier BJP had promised JJP that it would get the post of Deputy Chief Minister in Haryana, but now BJP has demanded two Deputy Chief Ministers for the state, one of the two parties.

BJP MLA Anil Vij, the only minister from the first Khattar government to retain power, is the leading choice for BJP’s Deputy CM.

The BJP MLAs have reportedly been told that the victorious MLAs of the party argued that if the JJP is given the deputy CM post, the same should be done for the BJP to maintain the balance of power. The legislators said that a senior BJP leader should be made the second deputy CM in Haryana. They believe that the JJP will be prevented from power in the state and provoking the BJP.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that the BJP will get the chief minister post whereas the JJP will get the deputy chief minister post.

The JJP, which won 10 seats in the Haryana Assembly elections on Friday, supported the BJP on Friday after Manohar Lal Khattar failed to cross the BJP’s majority mark. Under the alliance agreement, Dushyant Chautala’s JJP was offered the post of deputy CM in Haryana by the BJP.
