Mumbai: In a recent development, Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIAA) in Bhubaneswar has won the prestigious Airport Service Quality (ASQ) award for the year 2018.
“The BPIA has won the ASQ award for being the best airport in terms of size and area (2-5 million passengers in Asia-Pacific),” the airport director Suresh Hota said in the statement.
The airport has been chosen for the award by the Airports Council International.
Hota said, “It is a matter of great pride and delight for the airport that having number 1 amongst many people has made their presence in the World Airport Community.”
This award is given on the basis of an independent survey on safety, security, experience, environment, ease of availability and on the parameters of cleanliness, said the Hota.
