BSP Chief Mayawati Expels Lone BSP MLA In Karnataka For Not Voting In Favour Of HD Kumaraswamy
Mumbai: On Tuesday, BSP chief Mayawati expelled the MLA of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) from the party.
N Mahesh, the sole MLA of Bahujan Samaj Party in Karnataka, stopped voting in favour of the HD Kumaraswamy government in Karnataka.
Mayawati said, “BSP legislator N Mahesh was absent in today’s trust vote, which is indispensable”.
“In violation of the instructions of the party high command to vote in support of the Kumaraswamy government in Karnataka, BSP legislator N Mahesh was absent in today’s trust vote, which is indispensable, which the party took very seriously and therefore expelled Mr Mahesh from the party with immediate effect,” Mayawati wrote on Twitter.

The coalition government fell in Karnataka and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won the floor test on Tuesday.
HD Kumaraswamy got 99 votes losing the trust vote on Tuesday with 105 votings against the government. BS Yeddyurappa and other Karnataka BJP MLAs showed a victory sign in the assembly after HD Kumaraswamy led Congress-Janata Dal (Secular) coalition government lost the trust vote.
