China Rejects India’s Plea For JeM Chief Masood Azhar To Be Listed As Global Terrorist

Mumbai: Condemning Thursday’s Pulwama attack, China has refused to withdraw the request of India to list Jaish-e-Mohammed (JM) chief Masood Azhar as a global terrorist.

“We are in deep shock with this attack. We provide our condolences and sympathy towards the wounded and the families of the bereaved. We strongly oppose and strongly condemn all kinds of terrorism,” China’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Geng Shuang said.

He said that “We hope that all concerned regional countries will cooperate to deal with the threat of terrorism and will jointly maintain regional peace and stability.”

“As a matter of listing, the Security Council’s committee has clearly stamped the listing and process of terrorist organizations and individuals and JM, who took responsibility for the attack, has been included in the Security Council -” The list of terrorists, “he said.

“As a person’s list, we have always dealt with the issue in a sincere, professional and responsible manner,” he added.

JeM – Pakistan based organization – took responsibility for the attack in Pulwama district.

The government has also announced that it will effectively withdraw the most popular nation’s tag given to Pakistan, which will close the business and effectively between the two countries.
