Mumbai: An eight-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her teacher and the school manager in Muzaffarnagar on Thursday. On returning home, the class 3 student narrated the incident to her father who then immediately lodged a police complaint.
The incident happened on Thursday.
Circle Officer Kuldeep Singh said that on the basis of the complaint of his father, both the accused have been arrested.
He has been booked under Section 376 (rape) of the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act.
The victim was sent to the district hospital for a medical examination. The report confirmed rape, said the police official.
