Cong leaders’ Statements On J&K Have Helped Pakistan: PM Modi

Mumbai: PM Narendra Modi lambasted on Congress party saying that the statements made by its leaders on Jammu and Kashmir were being used by Pakistan to strengthen its position on the issue globally.

“Whenever we talk of Swachh Bharat, Surgical Strike or Balakot strike, Congress starts jumping in pain. The statements of Congress leaders on Kashmir make Pakistan happy, who use it to strengthen their case on Kashmir, ” Prime Minister Modi addressing an election rally here.

Speaking about the abolition of Article  370, Prime Minister Modi said that the decision of the Central Government removed the biggest hindrance in the development of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.

“We did something about which the country had lost hope. On August 5, we removed the biggest hurdle that hindered the development of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh,” he said.

Talking about the achievements of his government in Haryana, the Prime Minister said that rapid infrastructural development has contributed to the development of industries in the state.

“Growth in industries and employment is directly linked to infrastructure. In the last five years, eight national highways have been constructed here,” he said.

“In the last five years, our government has acted with the slogan ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’. This is the spirit of Haryana, the thinking of Sonipat and the dreams of Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram,” Modi said.
