Congress President Rahul To Uplist Name Of 2 Candidates Competing In Maharashtra For Due LS Polls

Mumbai: Sources said that on Saturday Rahul Gandhi, President Indian National Congress is about to declare candidates for 2 Maharashtra Lok Sabha seats.

Sources told to ANI news agency, during the Congress Central election committee meeting that Rahul Gandhi will decide which seat will be allotted to whom.

In Mumbai North and in Mumbai Northwest, the Congress party was unable to decide that these two seats should be allotted to whom.

President of Mumbai Congress Committee (MCC) Sanjay Nirupam, Ex-president (MCC) Kripa Singh and national spokesperson Priyanka Chaturvedi are the 3 party leaders who have a look to this 2 seat.

Although there is no fight for these two seats.

In Lok Sabha Elections of 2014, Mumbai North was won by BJP’s Gopal Chinayya and North West by Shiv Sena’s (BJP allied) Gajanan Chandrakant.

The Indian National Congress party in Maharashtra is contesting the due LS poll in Allie with Nationalist Congress Party (NCP).

LS Elections will start from 11th April and will continue till May 19. Maharashtra will vote on 4 phases out of 7. Results will be declared on 23rd May.
