Cops Wearing Saffron Scarves At Digvijay Singh’s Rally In Bhopal
Mumbai: On Wednesday, some policemen deployed for the road show of Congress candidate Digvijay Singh from Bhopal Lok Sabha constituency were dressed in saffron scarves.
When the person got angry, the women police personnel said, “We have been made to wear it”.
ANI quoted DIG Bhopal saying, “We and our organizers had nominated volunteers, and no one has said anything about what the volunteers are wearing. No policeman did not wear any colour scarves. ”
In Madhya Pradesh, the sadhus took a road show in support of former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh on Wednesday. Singh also participated in the road show, which included Peer Gate and Sankari Lane in the old Bhopal.
Digvijay Singh is contesting against Bharatiya Janata Party’s Pragya Thakur. BJP is winning Bhopal parliamentary seat from 1984, whereas Congress has won six of the 16 elections so far.
