Coronavirus: 324 Cases In India: Health Ministry

Mumbai: The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said on Sunday that the number of coronavirus cases in India had increased to 324.

Of these, 296 are active coronavirus cases, 23 are cured/discharged cases, four people are killed and one case is related to COVID-19 patient stay.

At the behest of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, ‘Janata curfew’ is being observed across the country today from 7 to 9 am.

“Let us all be a part of this curfew, which will add tremendous strength to the fight against COVID-19 menace. The steps we take now will help in the times to come,” PM Modi tweeted earlier in the day.

The ‘Janata curfew’, at the behest of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is being observed around the country from 7 am till 9 pm today.

The Prime Minister had on Thursday urged citizens to remain at their homes as a measure to combat the spread of COVID-19.
