CPI Released List Of Candidates Foe Due Andhra Pradesh Assembly Elections

Mumbai: 6 Candidate out of 7 were fielded by the Communist Party Of India (CPI) in Andhra Pradesh for due Lok Sabha elections.

Mupalla Nageswar Rao will be competing from Mangalagiri Assembly seat where Nara Lokesh of TDP will be standing as an opponent. NL Narayan will be contesting from Kanigiri.

Dr DVG Sankar Rao from Palakonda, P Kmeswar Rao from Srungavarapu Kota, K Ramanjaneyulu from Dhone and JV satyanarayana Murty from west of Vishakhapatnam.

Today, the party will declare its candidates for the rest of seats for 1 Assembly and 2 Lok Sabha seats.

CPI is in alliance with the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), with Jana Sena and CPI (M).

3 seats will be completed by BSP, CPI and CPM will field on 2 LS seats, each in the state, respectively. Jana Sena will contest from the rest of the seats.

Out of 175 Assembly seats in Andhra Pradesh, BSP will compete on 21 seats, whereas CPI and CPM will field on 7 seats respectively to each and the rest will go to the Pawan Kalyan led Jana Sena.

Simultaneously, both the state and Lok Sabha elections will be conducted with only single phase on 11 April.
