Daily COVID-19 Cases In India Fall Again As 3.29 Lakh Cases Reported In Last 24 Hours

Mumbai: The daily number of coronavirus cases in India dipped again as 3,29,942 cases were reported on Tuesday as compared to 3,66,161 cases on Monday. The total number of cases in the country has now risen to 2,29,92,517 with 37,15,221 active cases at present.

Meanwhile, there were as many as 3,876 deaths in the past 24 hours across the country, taking the overall death toll to 2,49,992 ever since the pandemic began last year.

Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare informed that 3,56,082 COVID patients were discharged in one day.

According to the Indian Council for Medical Research, a total of 30,56,00,187 samples have been tested up to May 10, with 18,50,110 samples being tested on Monday alone.
