Delhi Assembly Polls: BJP Poll In-Charge Javadekar DemandsAAP, Congress To Apologise For Inciting Violence

Assembly elections in Delhi are due in the coming months as the five-year term of the AAP government ends in February this year

Mumbai: Launching attack on Aam Aadmi Party and Indian National Congress, Union Minister for Information and broadcasting and Delhi’s election in-charge for Bharatiya Janata Party for Delhi assembly polls Prakash Javadekar accused them of provoking violence in the national Capital against Citizenship Amendment Act.

The minister said that violence related to the Citizenship Amendment Bill in areas like Jamia, Seelampur and Jama Masjid in Delhi cannot be forgiven.

ANI quoted Prakash saying, “In Jamia, Congress’s Asib Khan and AAP Amanatullah Khan banned speeches like will be banned. They will have a prevalence of de-addiction. The law is to give citizenship and not citizenship.”
“We will bring out the truth, the fight is between the anarchists and those who opposed it. Our agenda will be the full development of Delhi. AAP strangled the efforts of the Municipal Corporation for development works. Rs 900 crore was not given. Today, people in Delhi are surprised that the AAP fell asleep in all these 4.5 years and with six months left they ended the plans,” ANI quoted him saying.

“Kaam Kare koi topi pehne koi (work is done by someone else and the credit is taken by a different individual), ” said the minister while blaming the AAP government for taking credit of work done by BJP ruled corporations.

“Who did the fogging during the dengue season? Our corporations launched an awareness campaign against water accumulation and dengue cases. During the corporation elections, Kejriwal said don’t choose the BJP as dengue will claim life. Now he is also claiming credit for the decrease in dengue cases because of the works done by these corporations, ” asserted Javadekar.

“I am an environment minister, we worked on pollution control. There is no limit to their lies. About Unauthorised colonies, AAP says we have not regularised it. We made law signed by President yet they spread lies, ” added Javadekar.
