Resolution Passed By Kerala Assembly Is Against Unconstitutional Act Passed By Centre: Pinarayi Vijayan

He also said that the state government established the Youth Leadership Academy

Mumbai: Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said on Wednesday that the resolution passed by the Kerala Legislative Assembly was against the “unconstitutional act passed by the Center”.

Vijayan said, “The resolution passed by the Kerala Legislative Assembly is against the unconstitutional act passed by the Center. This has been considered by the whole country.”

The Kerala Assembly on Tuesday passed a resolution to withdraw the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019. Before the resolution against the Act was passed, in a special assembly session, Vijayan targeted the RSS and said that citizenship law was part of an agenda.

“The CAA is part of an agenda. Muslims are being considered as internal enemies by the RSS, who are controlling the ruling distribution at the centre,” he said.

Meanwhile, while talking about women safety on Wednesday, the Chief Minister said, “Those women, who are facing many problems, especially in relation to housing. To address this, the government provides housing in all cities “The project will be implemented. Helping local bodies.”

He also said that the state government established the Youth Leadership Academy.

“Government to encourage part-time jobs for students to formulate schemes after discussions,” he said.

The new law grants citizenship to Hindus, Sikhs, Jains, Parsis, Buddhists and Christians fleeing religious persecution in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh who came to India on or before December 31, 2014.
