Mumbai: A 14-year-old girl who worked as a domestic help was allegedly raped by Delhi Police Head Constable in the outer Delhi’s Mundka area. The constable is on the run after committing the crime.
The incident occurred on Tuesday when the accused and the victim were home alone, as the accused’s family was away.
A case has already been registered under the POCSO Act and IPC Sections. The accused is in his late forties. Several teams have been formed to locate and arrest him.
He was posted in the Tis Hazari court complex, the police said. The police are trying to find out if he has harassed the minor on previous occasions too.
A similar case was reported last year in September where an assistant commissioner of police was booked for allegedly raping a woman and molesting her daughter. That case was transferred to the Crime Branch.
