Delhi Out Of Covaxin For 18-44 Age Group; 125 Vaccination Centres To Be Shut: Atishi

Mumbai: AAP MLA Atishi said on Tuesday that Covaxin is out of stock for people between the ages of 18–44 and would have to close 125 centres where coronaviruses are being vaccinated.

In an online briefing, it has also been stated that Delhi will receive 2.67 lakh more doses from the centre by Tuesday evening.

Atishi said, “We have run out of Covaxin stock for the 18-44 age group and will have to shut 125 centres where it is being administered after Tuesday evening.”

The leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) urged the Center to replenish Covaxin and Covishield stock and said “we have no choice but to stop the vaccination campaign”.

She said that more than 1.39 lakh people were given vaccine jabs in the national capital on May 10, the highest daily figure since the inoculation started.
