Emotional Moment For Entire Country Every Heart Is Illuminated: PM Narendra Modi In Ayodhya
Mumbai: Describing the laying of the foundation stone for the construction of Ram temple as a historic moment, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that it is an emotional moment for the country today every heart is illuminated.
PM Modi said, “Every heart is illuminated. It is an emotional moment for the whole country. A long wait is coming to an end today. A grand temple will now be built for our Ram Lalla who had been living under a tent for many years.”
Prime Minister further said that history is repeating itself.
“With the construction of this temple, history is not only being created but is being repeated. The way the tribals helped Lord Rama, the children helped Lord Krishna raise the Govardhan mountain, similarly, All efforts to build the temple will be completed,” said PM Modi.
“Lord Ram always had love in his heart for the poor. His administrative system depended on social equity,” he added.
The Prime Minister further said that the Ram temple will inspire the entire humanity for eternity.
He said, “I believe that like the name of Shri Ram, this grand Ram temple built in Ayodhya reflects the richness of Indian culture. I believe it will inspire the entire humanity for all eternity.”
“We have to remember that whenever mankind believed in Lord Rama, progress was made. Whenever we strayed from the righteous path, then the doors of destruction opened. We will have to keep everyone’s sentiments in mind. We have to ensure everyone’s development with the support and trust of all,” he added.
PM Modi further said that Mahatma Gandhi had dreamed of ‘Ram Rajya’ (ideal state) based on the character and attributes of Lord Ram.
“Ram spoke on the basis of place, time and situation. He taught people how to discharge their duties,” the Prime Minister said.
“Rama resides in our hearts and is an integral part of our lives. People should be witness to the power of Lord Rama. There were efforts made at various times in our history to erase our existence but Lord Rama prevails and is the basis of our culture,” he added.
PM Modi further said that the Ram temple will become a modern symbol of India’s traditions.
“Ram temple will become a modern symbol of our traditions. It will become a symbol of our devotion, our national spirit. This temple will also symbolize the power of the collective resolve of crores of people. It will continue to inspire generations to come.” Modi said.
PM Modi earlier conducted ‘Bhoomi pujan’ for the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya today.
