FIR Against Maha Cong Leader For Derogatory Comments About PM Modi

Mumbai: An FIR was registered in Nagpur against Maharashtra Congress leader Sheikh Hussain for allegedly using derogatory language against PM Narendra Modi.

A case under sections 294 (obscene acts and songs) and 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace) of the IPC has been registered at Gittikhadan police station in Nagpur on Tuesday.

Former Nagpur Congress unit president Sheikh Hussain has allegedly made derogatory remarks criticizing Prime Minister Modi during the party’s protest against the Enforcement Directorate for questioning Rahul Gandhi in connection with a money-laundering probe involving the National Herald newspaper.

Congress leaders and workers demonstrated outside the ED office in Nagpur to show solidarity with Rahul Gandhi.
