FIR Lodged Against Congress ‘Milind Deora’ For Violating Model Code of Conduct

Mumbai: Model Code of Conduct violated in order to register an FIR against Congress candidate Milind Deora of South Mumbai. The news agency ANI told that a case has been registered under section 171 of the IPC (making false statements for elections) and Section 125 of the Representation of the People Act.

He won the 2004 election, in the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Deora was again elected from the Mumbai South constituency, this time with a difference of 1,12,682 votes.
