PM Modi Condemns Sri Lanka Blast Victims, Number Of Death Increased To 129

Mumbai: PM Narendra Modi condemns Sri Lanka, blast victims. “Strongly condemn the horrific blasts in Sri Lanka. There is no place for such barbarism in our region. India stands in solidarity with the people of Sri Lanka,” PM Modi tweeted saying.

As per reports, nearly 129 people were killed after a blast in Sri Lanka’s Colombo’s six parts during Easter on Sunday. The number of casualties is expected to increase.

According to reports, more than 450 people are being reported as injured. At present, sixteen people are admitted to the hospital. Three churches and two hotels were targeted at the attack.

Minister of External Affairs, Sushma Swaraj Said, “I am in constant touch with Indian High Commissioner in Colombo. We are keeping a close watch on the situation.”

“India condemns the terror attacks in Sri Lanka and offers its condolences to the people and government of the country. Such senseless violence, aimed at innocent people, has no place in a civilised society. We stand in complete solidarity with Sri Lanka,” Presiden Ramnath Kovind tweeted saying.
