FIR Registered Against Actor Alok Nath, Confirms Vinta Nanda’s Lawyer
Mumbai : After writer-producer Vinta Nanda accused Alok Nath for allegedly raping her, Mumbai police recently registered the FIR against the actor.
Were the case has been registered under the section 376 of Indian Penal Code. As per reports Nanda has loged a complaint against Alok Nath in October for who allegedly raped her in 90s.
Looking forward to the allegation Alok Nath was expelled from the Cine and TV Artistes Association (CINTAA). Moving ahead Nanda’s lawyer Dhruti Kapadia also confirmed that the police have registered the case against the actor.
“Vinta Nanda had registered a case against the Nath after the latter filed a civil defemation suit against her. Pursuing that, she was called for the investigation queries, etc. She gave her final statement yesterday and by the virtue of which the police felt that this is a fit case for an FIR” Kapadia told to ANI.
Where the lawyer just spoke about her client she was declining to speak about Nath said, “ All I can talk is about my client. We are pursuing it and are getting good support from public as well as women who have suffered in the industry and even from the police” she added.
