Floor Test Before 5 Pm Tomorrow, No Secret Ballot, Rules Supreme Court

Mumbai: In view of Maharashtra government formation, Supreme Court has ordered that live telecast of the floor test. There will also be no secret ballot.

In an intense battle for numbers among rival camps, the three parties paraded 162 MLAs in a show of strength as the legislators swore not to fall prey to any sign by the BJP.

This comes after, BJP’s Devendra Fadnavis was sworn in as the state’s chief minister for the second consecutive time on Saturday morning, with NCP’s Ajit Pawar sworn in as deputy chief minister.

In its petition before the Supreme Court, Shiv Sena and NCP have urged the court to stop the Devendra Fadnavis government from taking major policy decisions.

CM Devendra Fadnavis and BJP party has two days to show it’s numbers in the assembly.
