Former Australia Cricketer Shane Warne Passes Away Aged 52 Due To Suspected Heart Attack

Mumbai: Former Australia leg-spinner Shane Warne has passed away at the age of 52.

Warne’s management released a statement, saying that he passed away in Thailand due to a suspected heart attack.

“Shane was found unresponsive in his villa and despite the best efforts of medical staff, he could not be revived,” the statement reads.

“The family requests privacy at this time and will provide further details in due course.”

The news is the second devastating blow to Australian cricket within 24 hours, with fellow great Rod Marsh also passing away on Friday after suffering a heart attack last week.
