Former CM Of Karnataka Siddaramaiah Slams Narendra Modi, Says Centre’s Attitude Towards State Is Disgraceful

Mumbai: Criticizing the BJP government and PM Narendra Modi, former Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah said that, the Center is ignoring the time of the state when the floods have wreaked havoc while terming the attitude of the Prime Minister and CM as abusive.

Siddaramaiah wrote on Twitter, “No previous minister or PM, including Mr Vajpayee, had ignored Karnataka during natural disasters. But Narendra Modi’s attitude towards Karnataka and Yeddyurappa is disgusting despite 25 MPs.”

He said that the Kannadiges would never tolerate this “disgusting attitude”.

The former Congress CM made this remark, targeting the government over its move to cut the budgetary allocation for major welfare schemes.

Warning of a protest, Siddaramaiah said, “The BJP government can reduce the Anna Bhagya scheme and divert funds for the PM scheme for farmers. But it is not at the cost of food given to the poor Should be. This decision is anti-poor. ”

“Such an act will be condemned and mass protests will be organized to protect the interests of the common man. We will come on the streets and take a decision,” he said.

Congress had earlier opposed the current government’s move to cut welfare schemes such as Anna Bhagya and Indira Canteen in releasing funds for flood-affected areas.
