Mumbai (Goa) : Due to rash driving by Goa MLA’s son a 18 year old girl had been killed and her sister got seriously injured on Tuesday. The incident took place at NH-4 on Monday police officials said.
According to D C Rajappa The car was driven by the Cail Glen Souza Ticlo (27), son of Goa lawmaker Glen Ticlo, the car hit both thw womens while they were crossing the highway near the fruit market. Later on Cail was arrested but released on bail Tuesday.
Both the victims are identified as a Tainiyat Wahid Bisti succumbed to injuries while Samrin Khalid Bisti admitted to a hospital, he said
Meanwhile the angry mob pleted the stones at car and tried to set it on fire but police controlled the situation. Later on nearly seven people were also arrested for allegedly trying to set the car ablaze, he added.
