Govt To Brief All Political Parties About Afghan Situation: Jaishankar
Mumbai: The Centre will soon brief all political parties about the Afghanistan situation and its implications on the Indo-Afghan ties, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar stated.
In view of developments in Afghanistan, PM Narendra Modi has instructed that MEA brief Floor Leaders of political parties,” Jaishankar tweeted on Monday.

Several Indian Air Force (IAF) flights have been deployed on the India-Afghanistan route to evacuate Indian nationals stranded in the troubled country.
Government of India is also helping minority communities in Afghanistan like Sikhs and Hindus to leave the country and give them shelter in India.
The Taliban have captured almost all major towns and cities, including Kabul, in the backdrop of the withdrawal of US forces this month.
The MEA has said that the immediate priority of the government is to obtain accurate information about all Indian nationals currently residing in Afghanistan.
It urged Indians as well as their employers to immediately share relevant details with the Special Afghanistan Cell set up on 16 August.
