Gujarat Confirms 67 COVID-19 Cases In Last 24 Hrs, Tally Reaches 308

Mumbai: With 67 COVID-19 positive cases reported in Gujarat in the last 24 hours, the state rally of the infected has reached 308, including 259 active cases.

Two of the 308 patients are in critical condition and on ventilators.

Addressing the media here on Friday, Jayanthi Ravi, Chief Health Secretary, Gujarat, said: “In the last 24 hours, we have tested 978 samples, of which 67 are COVID-19 positive. Coronovirus positive cases in the state total number are 308. Including 259 active cases, 2 of which are on ventilators.”

India’s total number of coronovirus-positive cases increased to 6,412 on Friday. In the last 12 hours, 547 positive cases were reported.

Out of the total cases, 5, patients are 09 active patients and out of the 504 people have returned/discharged according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

With 30 new deaths reported in the last 12 hours, the death toll stands at 199.
