Hindu Raksha Dal’ Claims Responsibility For JNU Violence, Threatens More Attacks

Mumbai: Hindu Raksha Dal’ national convenor Pinky Chaudhary has claimed responsibility for the attack on students and teachers of Jawaharlal Nehru University on Sunday night

Pinky Chaudhary, the head of the Hindu Raksha Dal, released a video and said that he carried out the attack as ‘anti-national and anti-Hindu activities’.

“JNU is a hotbed of anti-national activities, we can’t tolerate this. We take full responsibility of the attack in JNU and would like to say that they were our workers”, said Chaudhary, adding, the group will carry out such attacks in the future as well.”How will we remain silent, if our religion and our nation are being disrespected?” he asked.

On the other hand, it has been reported that the claims made by Hindu Raksha Dal Chief Pinky Chaudhary are being investigated. “Delhi Police has taken cognizance. To identity masked men in JNU, Police is taking the help of video footage as well as face recognition systems”, ANI quoted government sources as saying.

On Sunday evening, more than 30 students, including JNUSU President Aish Ghosh, were injured and were taken to AIIMS Trauma Center after a masked mob entered JNU and they and professors were attacked with sticks and sticks.
